# Introduction

***Print Protocol** aims to revolutionize the way users, developers, and projects interact within the Solana ecosystem.*&#x20;

#### Mission Statement:

Our mission at Print Protocol is to pioneer the first-ever Solana rewards cryptocurrency, dedicated to fostering a decentralized and inclusive financial ecosystem. By leveraging the speed, scalability, and efficiency of the Solana blockchain, we aim to provide users with a seamless and rewarding experience in generating passive income by holding $PRINT. Through innovation and community-driven governance, we strive to redefine the landscape of decentralized finance, unlocking new possibilities and driving the mass adoption of Solana.

### What is Print Protocol?

Print protocol has launched as the first token utilizing auto-swap capabilities transferring [Token2022 ](https://spl.solana.com/token-2022)native collections into Solana. Coining our auto-swap & auto SOL distribution as Hold 2 Earn (H2E) $PRINT is pioneering a new wave of taxable tokens to help fund the way projects build, create, and develop on Solana.

# How it works

Print Protocol operates on a proprietary script enabling auto-swap functionality to our token taxes. The script then takes all Solana received via the swap and distributes appropriately between the operations wallet and all holders. \
\
Learn more about $PRINT via the [Tokenomics & Taxes](/print-protocol/how-it-works/tokenomics-and-taxes) page, as well as our [Mechanics ](/print-protocol/how-it-works/mechanics)page.

# Tokenomics & Taxes

The Print Protocol tokenomics are simple.

* 97.5% of supply added to LP
* 2.5% sent the [CEX Wallet](https://solscan.io/account/D1boCTogZxzkX3zGR4DqguKaPMHgzWpGB4U4H7C5vHfL)

Print tax structure:

* 2% [Operations Wallet](https://solscan.io/account/D72a8WXUeyg78gNESXkYP73hSu1LiDt2eWXWWVa667Qg)
* 6% auto-distributed SOL rewards

### How is this possible?

What makes Print Protocol unique is the possibilities unlocked by our proprietary script. Here we will break down how it works:

#### Step 1: Collects taxes

We have automated the collection of all token taxes to our deployer wallet. Every time a swap or transfer is executed, 8% of all tokens are set aside into a collectable 'tax token account'. Our script frequently checks for all accounts collectable and claims the tokens to the deployer.

#### Step 2: Swap threshold

While collecting all taxes, our script queries for the $PRINT token balance of the deployer wallet. Once the wallet balance exceeds the swap threshold (1 million $PRINT) a swap is executed via [Fluxbeam ](https://fluxbeam.xyz)to convert the tokens into Solana.

#### Step 3: Distribution

Our current tax structure of 8% includes 2% to the operations wallet & 6% as rewards distributed amongst all holders. With this in mind our script will send 25% of the Solana received via our token swap to the operations wallet (0.08 \* 0.25 = 0.02 for operations as pre-defined in our tax structure).&#x20;

Once this transaction is completed the script grabs a list of all holders and distributes all remaining Solana to the holders of $PRINT. The amount of Solana each holder receives is directly correlated to the amount of $PRINT they hold. LP is blacklisted from receiving rewards.&#x20;

\*Note: The minimum Solana that can be sent in a single transaction is 0.000001 SOL, any holders who would not receive this amount or higher will not be eligible for rewards. As a baseline it is recommended to hold approximately 6,000 $PRINT to receive rewards.

# What is PrintPad™

<figure><img src="https://2793552572-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqf3YSVZjMgj7y4GHxgLw%2Fuploads%2FVXHGw3OXq5XMxArzgwir%2Fprintpad.png?alt=media&amp;token=59974ebf-c0a2-4879-b26e-6f5784dac44e" alt="" width="240"><figcaption><p>PrintPad logo</p></figcaption></figure>

PrintPad™ is the first of many utilities offered by Print Protocol pursuing the mission of innovation within the Solana ecosystem.

At a high level, PrintPad solves the issue of automated tax-swaps to help fund projects. Prior to our automated management system, project owners who wish to implement a tax as a way to fund future endeavors would have to manually claim tokens from every account, then swap to $SOL, USDC, etc.\
\
***Example:***\
&#x20; *<mark style="color:red;">Normie Norman would like to run his new Token 2022 meme coin 'Dog Barked at Tree because Cat in Tree 6900 Inu' with a tax of 2% so he can acquire the latest and greatest within crypto marketing & give back to the community.</mark>* \
&#x20; *<mark style="color:red;">Normie Norman runs into the problem of manually claiming tokens to swap for sol in order to fund his project. Normie tries to do this every hour but it's hard to stay consistent. Some hours he is selling 5% of the supply in one sell because the volume built up so heavily, which has a negative impact on his chart.</mark>*\
&#x20; *<mark style="color:red;">Finally, Normie Norman decides to go to bed, but while he sleeps there is nobody to collect the tokens and swap them so when he wakes up he has no choice but to collect and once again make a massive sell, impacting the chart in a negative way.</mark>*\
&#x20;    *<mark style="color:blue;">With PrintPad, Normie can simply link his Tax Withdrawal Authority to the automated swap management system, set a threshold of how many tokens should be sold at once, and automatically receive the $SOL earned via those swaps to his operations wallet.</mark>*&#x20;

PrintPad provides value in making these swaps consistent and automated. This leads to less work for the project managers as well as more consistent & manageable sell pressure to the chart.&#x20;

# Benefits to $PRINT

PrintPad directly benefits $PRINT holders!\
\
**Here's How:**

\
A 5% fee of all taxes collected through projects utilizing PrintPad are sent to our Buyback Wallet.\
This will provide continuous buyback to support the price of $PRINT, as well as generate volume causing more rewards to holders.&#x20;

### What happens with the supply bought?

[🔥](https://emojipedia.org/fire)\
Supply bought back via PrintPad tax commissions will be periodically burnt. Utilizing true token burns the total supply of $PRINT will decrease. With decreasing supply users can expect an increase in rewards, as the supply burnt will no longer receive a portion of the rewards&#x20;

# Token Deployment

To utilize PrintPad you must have a [Token-2022](https://spl.solana.com/token-2022) token deployed. We recommend the PrintPad Token 2022 Deployer for this.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://2793552572-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqf3YSVZjMgj7y4GHxgLw%2Fuploads%2FwhpVwHBkA3f9BprQHbZa%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=a1944fef-b832-4faa-ad9c-786b96d46600" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Guidelines:

Here will outline the recommended specifications for deploying your token.

### Details

The details section is where you will input all information relevant to your project such as the logo, name, symbol / ticker, description, supply, and decimals.&#x20;

### Extensions

The only extension we recommend utilizing is Transfer Tax at the moment. PrintPad does not support tokens utilizing the following extensions:

* Default Account State
* Permanent Delegate
* Non Transferable

**Transfer Tax**\
Transfer tax must be enabled to utilize PrintPad. In the 'Fee %' field, input the % tax you would like to charge on your project. \
\
**Withdraw Authority:**\
This is the wallet with authority to withdraw collected native-token taxes. Input the PrintPad auto-swap management wallet :

* <pre><code><strong>PrinttmRTjHDvibSwrdQAGXjQtEbLZ4QzoBewPRXjvG
  </strong></code></pre>

At this time withdraw authority is not changeable post-launch. A ticket has been open with Solana to add an instruction to change withdraw authority. \
\
*\* Tax Withdraw Authority does not give PrintPad the ability to change your tax %. You can discontinue service with PrintPad at any time and reclaim tax withdraw authority.*

**Config Authority:**\
This is the wallet with authority to change your tax settings. The wallet you set here will by default be the wallet PrintPad sends your marketing funds to.\
\
***\* You can revoke tax config authority post-deployment if you do not plan on changing your tax structure.***

# Add Liqudity

To utilize PrintPad your token must have liquidity added on [Fluxbeam DEX](https://fluxbeam.xyz).<br>

Once your token has been [deployed](/printpad/get-started/token-deployment), you must create a liquidity pool via the [Fluxbeam Pool Creator](https://fluxbeam.xyz/app/pools/create).\
Put your token address in as the base token, and SOL as the quote token. Pair the desired amount of supply and SOL, then press 'Create Pool'. \*\
***\* note- Creating the liquidity pool will make your token live & tradeable. Proceed with caution.***

<figure><img src="https://2793552572-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqf3YSVZjMgj7y4GHxgLw%2Fuploads%2FEZczw6QFz17BVAe7eMUI%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=9d9a44ad-de9a-4581-b45c-e97cc6cdc81e" alt=""><figcaption><p>Fluxbeam Pool Creation Tool</p></figcaption></figure>

## Find LP Token & Authority

To utilize PrintPad, you will need to input your LP token address as well as your LP token authority.

### LP Token

There are several ways of finding your LP token, here we will be demonstrating a method through your pool creation transaction.\
\
Upon creating your liquidity pool, navigate to the transaction hash. This can be found in your wallets tx history. Once you have found the transaction it should look like this:<br>

<figure><img src="https://2793552572-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqf3YSVZjMgj7y4GHxgLw%2Fuploads%2FyCQINEcRKoT3iY4YE0CB%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=36f645b7-9668-4d77-ad4f-bc53fe0e1a09" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

From here, navigate to the Token Balance Change tab.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://2793552572-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqf3YSVZjMgj7y4GHxgLw%2Fuploads%2F8huGTClaZrvCdysxC2yn%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=d76cf547-e079-4aca-b34f-1776cb0e7d19" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

On the Token Balance Change tab click the new token you have received and copy the token address. **This is your LP Token.**

### LP Token Authority

Browse to your LP Token solscan page, from here you can copy the LP Token Authority.&#x20;

<figure><img src="https://2793552572-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqf3YSVZjMgj7y4GHxgLw%2Fuploads%2FadCe1hbJaiMFhMScKge9%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=42cff851-8487-4002-967a-4a48e41a5326" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Link Project

Once all of your project's prerequisites are satisfied, you can begin linking your project to PrintPad. Begin by clicking 'Get Started'.\
***\* Ensure you are connected to PrintPad with the current Tax Withdraw Authority wallet. To view your Tax Withdraw Authority address, you can use the*** [***FluxBeam Token Manager Tool***](https://fluxbeam.xyz/app/tools/token_manager)***.***

<figure><img src="https://2793552572-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqf3YSVZjMgj7y4GHxgLw%2Fuploads%2FgH5GjgXkUvtbQ2fTyDqi%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=f640e797-a2df-4170-a83a-4061bc4612e5" alt=""><figcaption><p>PrintPad Home Page</p></figcaption></figure>

On the next page, start by entering your token address. The tax %, decimals, and marketing wallet will auto fill. Currently the marketing wallet will default to the address used to setup PrintPad.

Enter your [LP Token Address](/printpad/get-started/add-liqudity#lp-token)

Enter your [LP Token Authority Address](/printpad/get-started/add-liqudity#lp-token-authority)

### Token Swap Threshold

Your token swap threshold is the amount of tokens collected via tax to trigger a swap. \
*Example:*\
*Your token supply is 100 million, you want to swap tokens to sol everytime 0.05% of the supply is collected in tax.* \
*SwapThreshold = 100,000,000 \* 0.0005 (0.05%) = 50,000*

<figure><img src="https://2793552572-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2Fqf3YSVZjMgj7y4GHxgLw%2Fuploads%2FhfQ4C5EdYcWCXLkYRc4k%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=ebb6685a-fc01-408d-9129-c36de3623e74" alt=""><figcaption><p>PrintPad Token Info Page</p></figcaption></figure>
